Green Phoenix Labs GmbH | Nexora Cell and Tissue Therapy Manufacturing Site

Nexora is the contract manufacturing division of Green Phoenix Labs GmbH, a biopharmaceutical company specialising in advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs). We manufacture cell and tissue-based medicinal products under GMP, both for clinical trials and for routine patient supply.

Our facility in Bochum, Germany, is located within a biomedical research centre in close proximity to the university technology campus. It provides GMP-qualified Grade A/B cleanroom areas and is designed to support development as well as pilot and small-scale manufacturing.

The site holds manufacturing authorisation and a current EU GMP certificate. The scope covers tissue engineered products, batch certification and quality control for sterility and biological testing, for both human medicinal products and investigational medicinal products. The most recent inspection took place in November 2025. Batch certification is performed in house.

Services: GMP manufacturing in Grade A/B cleanrooms, QP batch release, sterility and biological quality control, tech transfer, process and method development, regulatory support for hospital exemption applications, and aseptic preparation and filling of buffers, reagents and cell culture media in Grade A/B.

Specific experience in the GMP development and manufacture of autologous epithelial cell-based therapies available. We also take on allogeneic cell and tissue-based projects at pilot and small batch scale..

The same qualified infrastructure also supports cleanroom assembly, kitting and packaging for medical device and diagnostic clients.
