Hyderabad R&D centre for peptide and organic chemistry with SPPS, purification, lyophilisation, analytics and particle engineering support.
About the Plant
The Ascelis Peptides R&D Lab in Hyderabad, India, expands the SENN/Ascelis global development platform by adding a strong Indian R&D presence to SENN’s established Swiss peptide heritage. The Hyderabad R&D centre supports peptide and organic chemistry development, process development, analytical support and technology transfer for the wider SENN/Ascelis manufacturing network. The team includes PhD level scientists with expertise in peptide chemistry and organic chemistry, complementing the Swiss R&D and production teams. The laboratory is equipped for small and mid scale SPPS, parallel peptide cleavage, preparative and semi preparative HPLC, MPLC, lyophilisation, jacketed reactor chemistry, hydrogenation, pressure filtration, centrifugation and crystallisation studies. Analytical capabilities include HPLC, UHPLC, HRMS, GC, circular dichroism spectroscopy, Karl Fischer titration, PXRD, DSC, TGA, FT Raman and crystallisation screening. The site supports peptide and organic chemistry R&D, purification development, crystallisation and precipitation optimisation, analytical method support, scale up preparation and technology transfer into Swiss and Indian manufacturing operations.
