The Ascelis Peptides non-GMP Plant in Hyderabad, India, provides large scale manufacturing infrastructure that complements SENN’s long established Swiss peptide and specialty chemical expertise. The site strengthens the SENN/Ascelis platform by adding scalable non GMP capacity for peptide intermediates, organic intermediates and liquid phase peptide synthesis related operations.The plant is designed to support cost efficient scale up and larger volume manufacturing outside GMP environments, while benefiting from the process knowledge developed across the Swiss and Indian R&D teams. Its infrastructure includes a broad range of glass lined, stainless steel and polypropylene reactors from 650 L to 10,000 L, hydrogenation capability, Nutsche filters, centrifuges, candle and leaf filtration systems, vacuum tray dryers and lyophiliser.The site is well suited for non-GMP peptide intermediates, organic intermediates, process scale up, large scale LPPS support, precipitation and crystallisation based isolation, campaign manufacturing and supply of materials intended for further development, technology transfer or downstream GMP processing.Together with the Swiss sites in Dielsdorf, the Hyderabad plant supports a geographically distributed manufacturing model that combines Swiss scientific heritage with scalable global infrastructure.
